Hermes Local Assistant is a private personal automation setup operated by its owner. It is not offered as a public service.
The application requests Google Drive read-only access so the owner can search, inspect, download, and read their own files.
It also requests Google Calendar event access so the owner can view, create, update, and delete their own calendar events. It does not request Gmail, Contacts, Google Docs API, Google Sheets API, Drive write access, or Calendar sharing/administration permissions.
Google user data is accessed only when needed to perform tasks requested by the owner. Data may be processed by locally running components and by third-party AI/model or API providers configured by the owner when that processing is necessary to complete a task. OAuth credentials are stored locally on the owner's systems.
